A week of outdoor activities for families at the Etang campsite.

Nestling in the heart of the Anjou vineyards near Angers, the 4-star Etang campsite offers a lush green setting. With its lake and swimming pools, and surrounded by footpaths, the campsite offers a breath of fresh air for all the family, from April to September.

Day 1: Family outing or bike ride

On the first day of your week at Camping de l'Etang, set off on a hike (or mountain bike ride) to discover the Anjou countryside.

  • Audio guided walk in Brissac Loire Aubance (a stone's throw from our campsite)
  • Vineyard walk in the heart of the Anjou vineyards, organised by the campsite and ending with a wine tasting.
  • The wild Loire on foot (on the GR3)

Day 2: Canoe trip on the Loire River

On the second day of your week in Anjou, we recommend a canoe trip on the Loire. Located on the banks of the Loire, the Ponts de Cé water sports centre welcomes many holidaymakers every summer. The Loire abounds in splendid landscapes that will give you a magical time.

Day 3: Games and activities at the campsite

On the third day of your camping holiday, take part in aux activités proposées par l’équipe animation.

  • A morning aquagym session in one of the campsite pools
  • A jogging outing with one of the organisers
  • An afternoon pétanque tournament in the shade of the campsite's many trees

Day 4: Fishing by the lake

Continue your stay in the great outdoors with a spot of fishing on the campsite's pond. Don't forget to stock up on corn, the bait traditionally used to catch carp.

Day 5: Outdoor picnic

For this new day at the Etang campsite, why not organise a picnic on our various wooden tables laid out around the Etang?

For a taste of the emblematic dish of Anjou during your picnic, you can visit the butcher in Brissac and order rillauds. Then finish your meal with another Anjou speciality: plum pâté.

Day 6: A hot-air balloon flight

Experience a special moment in the skies over Anjou. In this particularly stable craft, there's no risk of airsickness during the trip: as the gondola is not attached to the ground, you won't feel any vertigo.

Depending on where you're flying from, you can admire the châteaux of Brissac or Saumur, the majestic Loire River, the vineyards and the monastic city of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud.

Day 7: Fun at the Parc de loisirs de l'Etang

For the last day of your week at Camping de l'Etang, come and have some family fun at the Etang leisure park. Located on the campsite, the leisure park offers dozens of attractions for adults and children in a natural setting.

Take advantage of preferential admission rates for an unforgettable day out with the whole family.
